Libido, sleep, and hot flashes documented as symptoms, not slogans
Walk-in HRT is not how this clinic works. Hormone decisions follow labs and a history.
What Women's Hormone Therapy actually includes
Low estrogen is a lab and a syndrome, not a marketing category.
Thyroid and HRT overlap: check TSH before attributing everything to estradiol.

Plantation FAQs for Women's Hormone Therapy
Crisis?
988 or ER. Especially for postpartum psychosis.
Do you prescribe HRT?
When indicated after history, labs, and risk counseling, and often in coordination with GYN. This is not a pellet mill.
Do you work with my OB/GYN?
With consent.
Is brain fog always menopause?
No. Sleep, ADHD, depression, B12, and thyroid are on the list.
Do you help with libido?
We evaluate causes, including SSRI effects and endocrine factors. No guaranteed outcome.
Do you do pellets?
We do not run a pellet-first model. If a GYN uses them, we still require a psychiatric formulation.
How long is the drive from Plantation?
Our Hollywood office is approximately 15-20 minutes from Plantation via 595 or Broward Boulevard. Telehealth is also available for follow-up appointments.
Do you take a functional approach to psychiatry?
Yes. Beyond traditional medication management, we investigate root causes including hormone levels, thyroid function, and nutritional deficiencies — an approach Plantation patients particularly value.
Labs, scales, and follow-up cadence
Refer DEXA when premature estrogen loss.
No pellet-only practice.
Bipolar screen before unopposed-feeling antidepressant plans.
Bleeding on HRT = GYN, not 'watch forever.'
Next step
If Women's Hormone Therapy is the right next step, schedule a 60–90 minute intake with Dr. Dorothy Chatelier, DNP, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC. Same-week telehealth follow-ups are used after the diagnostic visit when clinically appropriate.
If you already have records from another psychiatrist, NP, or therapist, send them before Women's Hormone Therapy so the interview can start from data instead of from a blank page.
