Not a trauma-processing substitute

If trauma processing is needed, we refer to psychotherapy. Table work is not exposure therapy.

Credentials and method

Dr. Dorothy Chatelier, DNP, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC holds DNP, FNP-BC, and PMHNP-BC credentials. Massage Therapy is advanced-practice psychiatric care, not a 15-minute refill mill and not unsupervised coaching.

Massage Therapy at Peace & Heart Wellness is directed by Dr. Dorothy Chatelier, DNP, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, a Florida-licensed psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with more than a decade of hormone-informed psychiatric practice. Care is hormone-informed and lab-aware rather than checklist-only.

Care is structured around validated instruments (PHQ-9, GAD-7, ASRS, MDQ) plus a clinical interview. Scores inform Massage Therapy; they do not replace it.

Parking, hours, and video visits

Lighthouse Point sits in Broward County. County-level resources (crisis lines, hospital ERs, IOP programs) are discussed during Massage Therapy when a higher level of care is safer than outpatient titration.

Neighborhoods we hear from most in Lighthouse Point include The Venetian Isles and Sample Road east of US-1. ZIP codes 33064 map to this service-area page.

Follow the same Hollywood hours model as the clinic.

Red flags (chest pain, neuro) stop the session.
