Can medication management be telehealth?
Yes if you are in Florida and the case is appropriate. Controlled-substance rules still apply.
Do you monitor antipsychotics?
Weight, A1c, lipids, and neurologic side effects are part of the protocol.
Can you prescribe if I am traveling?
Only if you are physically in a state where we are licensed — currently Florida telehealth.
Can a PMHNP-BC prescribe psychiatric medication in Florida?
Yes. Dr. Chatelier is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Prescribing is within Florida APRN scope, with monitoring.
Can you help me taper?
Yes. Tapers are scheduled by drug class. Do not stop MAOIs, benzos, or paroxetine abruptly on your own.
Do you prescribe stimulants?
When the evaluation supports ADHD and PDMP/safety checks pass. Not from a questionnaire alone.
Medication Management versus a generic template visit
A pharmacy auto-refill is not medication management.
Primary-care SSRIs without a bipolar screen are a common reason people land here.
Hormone clinics that ignore lithium or MAOIs create preventable interactions — we reconcile.
How Medication Management is structured
Reconcile the current list, including OTC, cannabis, and hormones.
Decide: continue, adjust, switch, or taper — one primary change when possible.
Confirm the target symptom and the diagnosis it belongs to.
Share the plan with the therapist when consent exists.

After Medication Management is scheduled, complete intake forms once. Repeating the same history at every visit is what we are trying to avoid.
